Collection: Mushroom Coral

How to Care for Mushroom Coral in a Home Aquarium

  1. Lighting: Moderate to low light is ideal. Too much light can bleach them.
  2. Water Flow: Low to moderate flow helps them thrive; strong currents can damage their tissue.

  3. Water Quality: Keep stable conditions — temperature (72–78°F), salinity (1.023–1.025), and low nitrates/phosphates.

  4. Feeding: Though photosynthetic, they benefit from occasional feeding of small meaty foods like mysis shrimp or coral food.

  5. Placement: Place on rock or substrate in lower to middle tank areas; ensure they’re not shaded or crowded.

They’re hardy and beginner-friendly but still need consistent care and stable tank conditions
